we practiced the night before. how can you not love theatre kids? i hear the goal is to make FLASHDANCE! a recognized organization soon. all that means is bigger and better things. i think it just another way for students to have fun, but still do something meaningful. every performance has just gotten bigger. the sky's the limit really. :D

It is a cold night. But everything is right. Moving over time. Trying to keep shine. Seeing things five different ways. I moved to save the day and keep sane.

bart simpson's blackboard intro is an ongoing gag with the simpsons series. how do they come up with stuff for every episode? you would think that after so many year it would get stale, but it doesnt. maybe thats why the writers are getting paid and i am not.... :D

yay online comics!
i read quite a bit of online comics. to me being able to come up with a new comic strip every day, or every other day, has to be tough. you have to be able to think outside of the box with some of the stuff they do! here are a few comics and some linkage to some i find very entertaining. also, look for the secret comics. sometimes there are funnier than the regular one
some of the comics may not be safe to view in certain places [for ex.: really strict work]. there is some foul language.

johnny cash is one of favorite musicians [even though i dont like country]. his cover of Nine Inch Nails song "hurt" gives me goosebumps. you can hear the emotion in his voice. cash was able to put his own art into another one's art

slam poetry
something i have gotten into is slam poetry. there is a "dive" bar out in downtown bryan [tx] that i go to called revolutions and sometimes perform. the even is held every other sunday. the event is called "Speak!". it is a way for local poets, musicians, artist to showcase their talents in an environment that is pure art. it is a great feeling.

[why i am here]
this started as a blog about creativity for my ENDS class. what it has turned into is stuff that i enjoy. there are things that usually helps me when i need some inspiration. the things on here are by no means the only things i enjoy, but these are things that i think other people would enjoy as well. i felt this was the BEST way for me to show what helps me create and be creative. I felt as though this also best represented how my generation lives. the internet. on the web. this is how we roll. i plan to keep this going for as long as i am interested in things. :]
